PeopleNet launched its talent pool offering way back in May 2000 with JobCafe, the online site aimed at putting Employers in touch with Job Seekers.

Although the end user experience was somewhat limited in the early days the talent management software delivered an experience that convinced EDS and Computerland to sign up as clients. As more clients came on board it became clear that the functionality was lagging and so from our initial discussions with clients and our knowledge of the market we built and delivered a major upgrade 3rd quarter of 2008.

Malcolm Perry, General Manager, said "We spent some time planning the upgrade project, which had to deliver some major enhancements to the end user tools, the job seeker experience and the back end technology platform and database environment. This was achieved to a high quality in conjunction with our development partners Brooklyn IT".

The system now includes additions like the ability for Job Seekers to upload design/creative Portfolio's; the ability for JobSeekers to download a professional CV in PDF format; recruiter tools like Vacancy Control Sheets and Job Expense tracking by job; role based Access controls to the talent management system, and a myriad of other enhancements for both recruiters and job seekers.

The back end has also been beefed up with the latest security disciplines wrapped around the entire Talent Management software offering, latest server, database and operating systems, and faster and more reliable networking technologies delievered by our technology partners 2Day.com.
